Growing Forward 2 4-H Canada Club Fund Program
Applications are now open for the Growing Forward 2 4-H Canada Outreach Fund. The Growing Forward 2 4-H Canada Outreach Fund provides funds to support community-level initiatives that create outreach, awareness and capacity building within 4-H clubs across Canada. This may include club events, promotional activities and professional development opportunities for volunteer leaders. Click here for the complete application guidelines.

Jack Pemberton Bursary
The Royal Winter Fair, in partnership with 4-H Canada, is pleased to offer the Jack Pemberton Youth Development Bursary to a senior 4-H member in their last year of high school residing outside of Ontario. This bursary will cover travel expenses for the Jack Pemberton Bursary recipient and a parent/guardian to attend the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, held in Toronto, Ontario in November 2017. The National Volunteer Leader of the Year Award
Volunteer leaders truly are the lifeblood of the 4-H program. With their support and guidance, 4-H’ers are given outstanding experiences and skill development opportunities to be responsible, caring and contributing individuals who affect positive change in the world around them.
4-H members show your appreciation and nominate YOUR leader for the National Volunteer Leader of the Year award! Applications for the 2017 National Volunteer Leader of the Year is open between September 15, 2017 and November 30, 2017. Please visit National Volunteer Leader of the Year Award for more details.

Canadian Co-Operative Wool Growers 4-H Scholarships
4-H Canada is proud to announce that through the generosity of the Canadian Co-operative Wool Growers, two scholarships - each valued at $500 – are available to 4-H members planning to attend a Canadian university or college in September 2017 in an agriculture-based program, ideally with a focus on sheep related studies. CIBC 4-H Post-Secondary Education Scholarships
4-H Canada is proud to announce that through the generosity of CIBC, eight scholarships – each valued at $1,000 – are available to 4-H members from across Canada. Recipients must be planning to pursue post-secondary education in the field of agriculture, engineering, arts, science, business or health in September 2017. John Deere Canada 4-H Scholarships
4-H Canada is proud to announce that through the generosity of John Deere Canada, 15 scholarships – valued at $1,000 each – are available to 4-H members across Canada. Opportunities such as this help support 4-H members who will pursue a post-secondary education at a Canadian college or university in a degree, certificate or trade-based program in September 2017. TD 4-H Agriculture Scholarships
4-H Canada is proud to announce that through the generosity of TD, 12 - $2,500 scholarships will be available to 4-H members across Canada. Weston Family 4-H Agricultural Scholarships
4-H Canada is proud to announce that through the generosity of The W. Garfield Weston Foundation, full year tuition scholarships are available to 4-H members from across Canada who will be attending a Canadian university pursuing an agricultural-based degree in the fall of 2017. Successful applicants could be undergrads, graduate students or completing their post grad program.
4-H Canada is proud to announce that CN is the sponsor of the 4-H Canada Leadership Excellence Awards of Distinction. The Leadership Excellence Awards of Distinction (L.E.A.D.) honours the accomplishments of four special 4-H senior youth members and showcases the outstanding accomplishments of 4-H members across Canada in the area of leadership excellence. Through the generosity of CN, four scholarships – with an overall value of $20,000 each over four years – are available to 4-H members who have demonstrated personal values, leadership and community involvement within one of 4-H’s Leadership Development Pillars.

VICTORY® Hybrid Canola “Reaping Returns” Program
Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan 4-H clubs have the opportunity to earn up to $2,500 to fund a worthwhile community outreach project in the area of health and nutrition, the environment, or education. A downloadable pdf with full instructions and an application form is available here.
Canadian Young Speakers for Agriculture Competition
Jointly sponsored by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and 4-H Canada, this engaging public speaking competition is held annually at the Royal Agriculture Winter Fair in Toronto, ON.
