Leading the Way through Lifelong Learning
With busy lives it can be hard to find time to volunteer, but every day more than 7,400 4-H volunteer leaders from nearly 2,000 4-H clubs across Canada are contributing to their communities and supporting the growth of confident, caring and responsible Canadian youth.
This dedication to supporting youth through 4-Hprogramming is the bedrock of our organization and the key to providing young leaders across Canada with outstanding opportunities to nurture their growth and sense of accomplishment, confidence and responsibility.
For volunteer leaders, being involved in 4-H can mean many things, including connecting with their communities, meeting new friends, finding a sense of purpose, having the opportunity to share their skills and passions with others and finding inspiration within the enthusiasm of 4-H members.
That’s why 4-H Canada is excited to have launched our newest resource for our incredible 4-H volunteer leaders—as well as senior members and professionals—the 4-H Leaders LEARN webinar series.
Through 4-H Leaders LEARN, volunteer leaders can advance their leadership skills, strengthen their confidence in empowering youth in the comfort of their own homes.
Between now and March 2017, 4-H volunteers are invited to participate in 4-H Leaders LEARN webinars—live online workshops—to learn more about positive youth development and experiential learning, building authentic youth-adult partnerships, leading meetings through parliamentary procedure, and more!
