4-H Canada Announces the 2017 Recipients of the TD 4-H Agriculture Scholarship

Ottawa ON – August 17, 2017 – 4-H Canada is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2017 TD 4-H Agriculture Scholarships. Twelve 4-H members were selected from across Canada, and each are to received $2,500 to pursue their post-secondary studies in the field of agriculture, agricultural science or agricultural business beginning in the fall of 2017.

“Having a partner like TD that understands the importance of positive youth development and providing them with opportunities for growth is a privilege for our organization,” said Shannon Benner, CEO of 4-H Canada. “By investing in the future of our youth, TD is helping to promote and cultivate a true spirit of leadership, responsibility and sense of community that is at the heart of 4-H.”

By continuing to provide young Canadians with these opportunities, 4-H Canada and TD are helping to ensure youth have the necessary tools and guidance in order to succeed in life-long learning.

The delivery of these programs would not be possible without the ongoing and long-term partnerships with organizations like TD that share this vision and recognize the importance of advancing positive youth development in Canada.
