As a 4-H Canada Member, your vote is an important way for you to help shape the future of the 4-H movement by helping choose the individuals who oversee 4-H Canada and participating in the resolution process. The Board of Directors sets the strategic direction, provides responsible and informed oversight of 4-H Canada while resolutions are the way in which direction can be given to the board or 4-H Canada’s operating rules changed. 4-H Canada Members access our highly engaged network of 7,700 volunteer leaders and nearly 25,000 youth members through discounted advertising space in our national publications, the 4-H Advantage and Alumni Magazines. Members also receive priority invitation to participate in national activities as applicable to our programs. When possible, we leverage the expertise of our 4-H Canada Members to create relevant and interesting programs for youth.

There are three categories of voting membership with 4-H Canada: corporate, associate, and individual.
*Associate Member – In order to be eligible for an Associate Membership, organizations must be one or more of the following:
- Registered as a charitable or non-profit organization with the Canada Revenue Agency
- Listed as a Designated Educational Institution by the Government of Canada
- Listed in the Directory of Business and Trade Associations / Organizations by Industry Canada
- An affiliated provincial 4-H council, foundation or government body
