Updated Oct. 7, 2022
In light of the current public health policies and removal of most COVID-19 restrictions federally and provincially, including mandatory vaccination, on Oct. 5 the 4-H Canada Board of Directors approved a motion to remove 4-H Canada’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement for in-person national programs. 4-H Canada will continue pre-screening national program attendees, and encourage those who are unwell (for any reason) to stay home.
4-H Canada has worked hard since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic to adapt to the evolving landscape across the country, and respond with policies and resources that reflect recommendations from public health authorities. The ultimate goal has been - and will always be - the health, safety, and security of our youth members, volunteer leaders, families, and the communities 4-H impacts.
4-H Canada remains committed to delivering fun, inclusive, and relevant programming to our 4-H youth and leaders, to supporting the 4-H community, and to working in partnership with our provincial 4-H organizations, partners, and stakeholders as we continue to empower youth leaders.
