4-H in Canada operates at three levels

National 4-H Council

Provincial 4-H Councils

In Canada, 4-H is managed independently in each province. These provincial 4-H Councils manage the operation and activities of 4-H in their provinces, including youth enrollment, volunteer screening, club support, as well as regional and provincial programming.

Local 4-H Clubs

Community-based clubs are the grassroots of 4-H in Canada. Led by 4-H volunteers, youth ages 6-25 complete projects, conduct club meetings, and participate in a range of experiential learning activities in over 900 clubs across Canada.
