US National 4-H Conference

The annual U.S. National 4-H Conference is the premiere civic engagement opportunity for 4-H members across the U.S and Canada. One 4-H member (aged 18-19 at the time of travel) from each province in Canada, forms the Canadian delegation.

Conference delegates choose an important societal topic and in round table groups prepare a formal briefing. Briefings are presented to U.S. federal officials around the Washington, D.C. area.

In addition to conference activities, 4-H Canada delegates may have a chance to tour Washington, visit some of the nation’s famous cultural and political sites, including the Lincoln Memorial and Capitol Hill, and visit the Canadian Embassy.
