Ottawa, ON – April 25, 2017 – Today, as part of National Volunteer Week, 4-H Canada is pleased to recognize and honour a number of exceptional 4-H volunteer leaders – including the recipient of the 2016 4-H Canada National Volunteer Leader of the Year Award.  

For more than 100 years, 4-H has been an organization driven by the dedication of volunteers who provide opportunities where Canadian youth can develop their leadership skills and grow as responsible, caring and contributing young people.

Ottawa, ON —April 7, 2017— A renowned young inventor, a Canadian Olympian, a globally acclaimed motivational speaker and two prominent female executives—these are the impressive keynote speakers that will be headlining this summer’s Global 4-H Network Summit in Ottawa, Canada.

Ottawa, ON, March 9, 2017 – 4-H Canada and Farm Credit Canada (FCC) are proud to announce the extension of FCC funding to 4-H Canada until 2020. FCC’s annual 4-H Canada funding commitment of $250,000 supports national, provincial and club level programs and initiatives, including the popular FCC 4-H Club Fund. Ottawa, ON – January 25, 2017 – 4-H Canada and Syngenta Canada are pleased to announce the national winners of the  Proud to Bee a 4-H’er video contest. 4-H’ers from across Canada were asked to create a short video, either as a club or as individuals, demonstrating their pride in being a part of the 4-H program and reflecting the wide variety of Canadian 4-H clubs, projects, communities and age groups.

Ottawa, ON - December 7, 2016 - Today, the Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, announced the Government of Canada’s support of $780,040 towards the Global 4-H Network Summit being hosted by 4-H Canada in Ottawa, Ontario next summer.
