Ottawa, ON –  June 27, 2017 – The fourth edition of the 4-H Canada Proud to Bee a 4-H’er initiative has been an overwhelming success. This year saw the initiative surpass the 100,000 mark in terms of the number of pollinator-friendly seed packets distributed, since 2014, to 4-H clubs in communities across Canada.

Ottawa, ON—May 18, 2017—4-H Canada, one of the longest running youth organizations in Canada, is proud to announce the public launch of their Canada 150 Public Service Announcement “To Do List.” The inspiring new campaign, developed by Toronto agency Cleansheet Communications, illustrates the power of Canadian youth, committed to positively impacting communities across Canada and around the world.

Ottawa, ON – April 25, 2017 – Today, as part of National Volunteer Week, 4-H Canada is pleased to recognize and honour a number of exceptional 4-H volunteer leaders – including the recipient of the 2016 4-H Canada National Volunteer Leader of the Year Award.  

For more than 100 years, 4-H has been an organization driven by the dedication of volunteers who provide opportunities where Canadian youth can develop their leadership skills and grow as responsible, caring and contributing young people.

Ottawa, ON, March 9, 2017 – 4-H Canada and Farm Credit Canada (FCC) are proud to announce the extension of FCC funding to 4-H Canada until 2020. FCC’s annual 4-H Canada funding commitment of $250,000 supports national, provincial and club level programs and initiatives, including the popular FCC 4-H Club Fund.
