Ottawa, ON, Aug. 9, 2022 – 4-H Canada is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2022 TD 4-H Agriculture Scholarship.

12 youth leaders from across Canada are the recipients of this year’s TD 4-H Agriculture Scholarships. The scholarships, totalling $30,000 in funds for 2022, have been generously provided by TD Bank Group, with each of the 12 4-H members receiving $2,500 toward their post-secondary education in agriculture, agricultural science, or agricultural business this coming fall.

Ottawa, ON, June 13, 2022 – 4-H Canada is pleased to announce a renewed partnership commitment supporting youth in Canada, with Cargill investing over $450,000 in the 4-H movement across Canada by 2024.

This partnership will focus on multiple levels of support for 4-H members and organizations across Canada in the coming two years, from grassroots to provincial agencies to national events.

Ottawa, ON, May 30, 2022 – 4-H Canada is thrilled to announce that two 4-H members took home awards at the 2022 Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF), hosted virtually by the University of New Brunswick Fredericton Campus from May 16 to 20, 2022.

Mark Norregaard from Balzac, AB was awarded the Silver Medal – Excellence Award for his project “A Comparison of Natural Corrosion Inhibitors on Metals.” The Excellence Awards recognize science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) excellence.

Ottawa, ON, April 18, 2022 – 4-H Canada and Syngenta Canada are pleased to announce the continuation of their successful partnership, which positions Syngenta as the lead partner for programming within 4-H Canada’s Sustainable Agriculture & Food Security leadership development pillar through to 2023.

Ottawa, ON, April 11, 2022 – Since launching in 2020, the 4-H at Home Outreach Initiatives have empowered over 5,900 youth to enjoy hands-on activities any time, from anywhere, while making meaningful contributions to their communities, country, and the world.
