OTTAWA, ONTARIO – February 25, 2020 – Close to 300 people gathered at Ottawa’s National Arts Centre to recognize the outstanding contributions of 4-H youth, leaders, alumni and champions and raising a record amount of money for the organization during the 4-H Canada Leadership Awards on February 10.

OTTAWA, ON – February 20, 2020 – 4-H Canada and BASF Agricultural Solutions Canada have partnered to empower youth leaders to positively contribute to communities while advocating and developing their voice in areas important to them. BASF will support the positive youth development organization with funds for national and provincial 4-H programming over one year and be the lead partner of programming within 4-H Canada’s Community Engagement & Communications Leadership Development Pillar.

Ottawa, Ontario – January 30, 2020 – 4-H Canada is thrilled to announce the recipient of its 2019 National Volunteer Leader of the Year Award is Lisa Patton of the Truro-North River 4-H Club in Nova Scotia. Proudly supported by The Co-operators, this award recognizes the important and crucial role 4-H’s 7,600 volunteer leaders play in the program. Lisa will be honoured February 10, 2020, at the 4-H Canada Leadership Awards at the National Arts Center in Ottawa.

Ottawa, Ontario – January 28, 2020 – 4-H Canada is thrilled to announce Canadian country music artist Gord Bamford will receive 4-H Canada’s Distinguished Alumni Award at the annual 4-H Canada Leadership Awards taking place in Ottawa on February 10, 2020.

Bamford stands as one of the most decorated artists in Canadian country music with 26 Canadian Country Music Association awards, several JUNO nominations, and two CMA Global Country Artist awards.
