Ottawa, Ontario – January 28, 2020 – 4-H Canada is thrilled to announce Canadian country music artist Gord Bamford will receive 4-H Canada’s Distinguished Alumni Award at the annual 4-H Canada Leadership Awards taking place in Ottawa on February 10, 2020.

Bamford stands as one of the most decorated artists in Canadian country music with 26 Canadian Country Music Association awards, several JUNO nominations, and two CMA Global Country Artist awards. 

Ottawa, Ontario – January 15, 2020 – 4-H Canada is pleased to announce the naming of Carm Hamilton, P.Ag. (Ontario), and Kim McConnell, C.M. (Alberta), as Honourary Members of 4-H Canada. Proudly supported by RBC, 4-H Canada’s Honourary Membership is a distinction bestowed upon individuals whose dedication and passionate contributions have advanced the 4-H movement in Canada. Both will be honoured February 10, 2020 at the 4-H Canada Leadership Awards at the National Arts Center in Ottawa.

Ottawa, Ontario – December 17, 2019 – 4-H Canada is pleased to announce Farm Credit Canada (FCC) 4-H Club Fund will contribute $100,000 in grants to 206 4-H clubs, districts and regions across Canada in 2020, supporting local clubs’ initiatives, with the ultimate goal of empowering youth to be responsible, caring and contributing leaders that effect positive change in the world around them.

Ottawa, Ontario – November 7, 2019 – 4-H Canada is pleased to announce the 10 recipients of the new Saputo and Armstrong Cheese 4-H Dairy Club Fund.

4-H Canada launched a new club funding opportunity this fall for registered 4-H dairy clubs in Canada. This grassroots-level support offers the approximately 4,200 4-H members registered in cow and goat clubs the chance to participate in learning activities, while developing their confidence and knowledge relative to the dairy industry.

Ottawa, Ontario – November 1, 2019 – 4-H Canada is thrilled to officially launch its national Show Your 4-H Colours campaign today on Global 4-H Day, with the kick-off of exciting month-long engagement activities for all 4-H supporters to wear green, celebrate, and give back to a movement currently impacting approximately seven million people in over 70 countries.
