First offered in 1931, 4-H Canada’s Members Forum is our longest-running program.

Members Forum is the premier opportunity for 4-H youth across Canada to come together for an impactful, engaging, and fun-filled conference.

About the Program

Through experiential learning, workshops, and interactive activities, delegates will develop a deeper awareness, knowledge, and understanding of what it means to positively impact the environment and lead healthy lives. 4-H’ers will leave feeling energized and equipped to apply new knowledge and skills to club projects in their home communities, and even discover new career paths to explore or pursue.

Participants will explore:

  • Careers and leadership – including participating in Mentorship Circles
  • Service and community development
  • Environment and healthy living

Future Ready: Purpose, Passion, and Possibilities

This year’s theme focuses on empowering and equipping you with the skills and experiences to thrive in our ever-changing world. Members Forum will support you in exploring career paths and connecting these with your interests, aspirations, and passions. Members Forum will support your confidence in being “future ready”, which includes not just adapting to change but actively shaping your future with the skills and methods needed to achieve your goals.

Program Objectives:

  • To ignite and foster a sense of excitement and initiative in 4-H members in actioning their professional and personal goals.
  • To support 4-H members in identifying their purpose through an exploration of talents, interests, and passions, and recognize actions to positively impact their community, country, and world through their purpose.
  • To provide 4-H members with opportunities to use and further develop important life and career skills to support their readiness to effectively navigate change, stressors, and needs, as well as the knowledge and skills necessary for life and career success and thriving.

How to participate

Seven 4-H members from each province are selected by their provincial 4-H office to attend Members Forum.

Registration Cost

*NEW* Early Bird Registration Price (before August 21, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET): $635

Regular Registration Price (August 22 - September 6, 2024): $675

Price includes:

  • Participation in all Members Forum programming, including workshops, Mentorship Circles, keynote speakers, sessions, and activities.  
  • Round-trip flight or other transportation to and from Members Forum. 
  • All Ground transportation during the event including airport transfers. 
  • Meals (breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and some snacks – beginning with dinner on Sunday, November 2.) 
  • Hotel accommodation – double occupancy 
  • Attendance at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair
