What is Agents of STEM?

Agents of STEM introduces youth to the exciting world of STEM by uncovering the science, technology, engineering, and math in everyday life. Through hands-on missions and problem-solving adventures, this kit encourages youth to think creatively, work collaboratively, and see that STEM is all around them —from their homes to their communities.

With a dedicated Leader Guide included, facilitators have all the tools and support they need to lead activities with confidence — no STEM background required! Agents of STEM is the perfect way to spark curiosity, build confidence, and empower youth to become real-life STEM Agents.

Activity Kit

Step into action as a STEM Agent with an activity kit designed to get you going! Each mission challenges participants to solve puzzles, build inventions, and explore STEM in fun, interactive ways. 

  • Designed for youth ages of all ages, this kit makes STEM learning engaging and hands-on. 
  • Includes most materials needed to complete a variety of experiments and challenges — just add a few easy-to-find, low-cost items like popsicle sticks, paper cups, elastics, and glue, and you’re ready to go! 
  • Encourages collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking — your very own STEM superpowers! 

Activity Book

From building simple machines to cracking codes, completing fun experiments, and solving STEM mysteries, the Agents of STEM activity book uses 4-H Canada’s proven Positive Youth Development (PYD) approach to engage youth in hands-on learning. With colourful illustrations, interactive missions, and problem-solving challenges, the activity book makes STEM approachable and fun while inspiring reflection, creativity, and teamwork.
