September 26 to October 1, 2020
Washington, D.C.
Open to 4-H members ages 16 to 19. Contact your provincial office regarding selection to attend.
The annual U.S. National 4-H Conference is the premier civic engagement opportunity for 4-H members across the U.S. One 4-H member, aged 16 to 19 at the time of travel, from each province forms the Canadian delegation.
Conference delegates choose an important societal topic and in roundtable groups prepare a formal briefing. Briefings are presented to U.S. federal officials in the Washington, D.C. Area.
In addition to the conference activities, 4-H Canada delegates have a chance to tour Washington, visit some of the nation's famous cultural and political sites, including the Lincoln Memorial and Capitol Hill, and visit the Canadian Embassy.
Visit the U.S. National 4-H Conference website to learn more.
4-H Canada's participation in this program is subject to an annual invitation from the U.S. Organizing Committee.
